Abstract
In large transformers, large currents flow through the windings, so stray load losses in structures such as tanks and frames may cause localized heating. To improve product quality, predicting high accuracy losses are required.
In this presentation, we will introduce an example of applying 3D magnetic field analysis to a large power transformer. The following will be described: the difference between frequency analysis and transient analysis, computational time with parallel computing.
