Abstract
We will present our own unique techniques to motor development using topology and parametric optimizations to inspire unconventional and innovative ideas as well as drive motor design efficiency. Our case study runs a topology optimization to freely transform geometry for insight into innovative new ideas about the geometry before optimizing the dimensions. A multi-objective parametric optimization balances maximum torque and motor rotor rigidity while realizing lower computational costs using a deep learning-based surrogate model.
