Overview

The initial stage of motor design needs to quickly evaluate each design proposal. These evaluations must examine the thermal design alongside the magnetic design.
JMAG-Express not only uses geometry registered in advance but also custom user geometry to evaluate motor performance through analysis templates for design scenarios. JMAG-Express can run design scenarios on both geometry provided with the software as well as models created in JMAG-Designer by applying these analysis templates for design scenarios.
This tutorial describes the procedures to apply an analysis template for design scenarios to a model created in JMAG-Designer, and then run an evaluation of the motor performance.
