Study on the Application of the JMAG Optimization Function in Motor Design

Abstract

We evaluated whether the use of the optimization function in JMAG will assist in the increase of efficiency in design and deepen our technical understanding for motor design in our company.
For our theme, we selected geometry optimization to balance the load ratio and reduce variations.
Appropriate applications of the current functions are capable of increasing efficiency in design, and we confirmed that it is an effective tool for the purpose of training to deepen our understanding of motor characteristics and exploration of ideas.
