Abstract

After using JMAG Designer and the optimization tool to design the motor and to calculate the motors efficiency map. This map is compared on a motor test bench.
Afterwards we used the JMAG RT Model together with the NI Electric Motor Simulation Toolkit to optimize the controller software. The system is set up as a HIL system, where the actual controller is connected to the FlexRIO FPGA Module and the inverter and motor are part of the simulated system.
This allows us to test the system in non-conventional working points and especially in failure points.
Development toolchain and results so far will be presented.
