Abstract

In the rectifier, overheating of the structure of the rectifier occurs due to the influence of a magnetic field generated by a large current. Experiments and verifications using real rectifiers to push large currents are not easy from the viewpoint of equipment and cost. Consequently, it is extremely effective to preliminarily evaluate the structural overheating of the rectifier using magnetic field analysis in JMAG. Analysis time has been an issue for this analysis, and we are working to reduce analysis times from last year. This year, it was possible to realize higher speeds using highly parallel SMP. Also, only an analysis based on Joule loss density was conducted previously, but since a thermal analysis has also been conducted, we have included it in this report.
