Abstract
The electromagnetic and thermal analysis using JMAG makes it possible to accurately calculate the temperature distribution during induction heating and it became possible to reduce the cost and time for coil prototyping. However, even with analysis, a trial and error process such as fine adjustment of the coil shape is still necessary, which requires a great deal of manpower for analysts.
We introduce a case where the design of coil shape is automated using HEEDS which is design exploration software.
