Analysis of the Electromagnetic NVH of Electrical Machines

Abstract

The presentation deals with the electromagnetic NVH of electrical machines for electric vehicle application. It aims at presenting the current AVL-workflow for the calculation of NVH related issues in electrical machines and at discussing important time and spatial orders with regard to the NVH behavior. An in-house developed interior permanent magnet synchronous machine is used as example for the simulations. The simulation results are verified by additional NVH measurements on a test bench.
