Abstract

We report on the result of examining the possibility of not only realizing light weight and high strength which is a general feature of CFRP but also the possibility of mitigating the disadvantage of magnetic performance and structural aspect by applying CFRP as outer rotor support material.
In addition, we report on the result of investigation on realization of light weight and high rigidity structure by design optimization taking advantage of the characteristics of CFRP.
