Abstract
ASTER CO., LTD. has developed a new type of coil (AST COIL) via original manufacturing methods. This technology of coils realized a high slot fill factor with an entirely new shape, and that stimulate market demand for motors with AST COIL. To meet that new demand, we have started in-house motor development in September 2020.
In this presentation, we introduce case studies of the effective use of JMAG that leads to the result of commercializing these motors in ultimately short period. We also introduce case studies of a unique approach we solved the local heating issue evoked by coil eddy current loss, which has been a frequent issue against the background of the increased use of rectangular wire recent years.
