Abstract

In the past, the thermal design of motors has used different methods depending on the situation, from the classical analysis method represented by thermal networks to the use of CAE software with GUI.
Although these different methods have gradually become more accurate, they tend to require a lot of calculation time.
In recent years, however, there has been a growing demand for high accuracy and high computational speed in thermal design, as represented by the use of ROM.
In this presentation, we will show how Simcenter’s simulation technology can meet such requirements.
