Abstract

The permanent magnetic synchronous motors (PM motor) widely used commercial products and industrial applications, because of high efficiency and low cost, reliability. However, PM motor has heat problems generally. Most important point is difficult to measure that cooling detail condition and temperature distribution. We study the ideal PM motor with two numerical analysis softwares (JMAG-Designer, ANSYS fluent), then temperature distribution of PM motor is estimated by this procedure. This calculation procedure and results are almost equal the experiments of the real PM motor.
