Abstract

It is considered that the distribution of demagnetization in permanent magnets in consumer electronics, industrial equipment and HEV traction motors is not uniform due to the difference of coercivity of local parts in the magnet material and the difference of the working point of local parts in the magnet caused by the variation of magnetic circuit in a motor. Therefore, we developed the measurement method of the three-dimensional demagnetization distribution of the subdivided permanent magnets at the working point that the magnets are installed in a motor, and verificated the simulation result by JMAG-Designer. Finally we extracted the subject of simulation and measurement.
