RecurDyn Dynamic Simulation of Drivetrain System with Electric Motors

Abstract

RecurDyn/DriveTrain provides easy modeling configuration of gears, bearings and shafts using KISSsoft interface and analyzes dynamic behaviors of various kinds of drive systems. A gear box model is created in RecurDyn pre/post, and dynamic simulation is implemented with RecurDyn solver.
In this paper, a typical process of simulation is introduced to analyze an entire system of drivetrain.
And, it also verifies the interaction between RecurDyn and JMAG-RTT where an electric motor model gives a driving system an effect of excitation for more accurate results of vibration and resonance both in time and frequency domains.
