Abstract

In recent years, low-noise transformers are required. The major factor of the noise is vibration caused by magnetostriction and electromagnetic forces of Core. Then, we perform magnetic field and structural coupled analysis in order to predict this electromagnetic vibration.
In this presentation, we introduce an analysis of experimental transformers with laminated cores. First, the coupled analysis method is described. Next, we will discuss the measurement and analysis. In terms of the analysis, we explain the comparison of the frequency response analysis and transient response analysis and the effect of magnetic hysteresis.
