Abstract

Recently, the demand for environmental performance has been increasing in the automobile industries and other industries. Therefore, it is important to respond to electrification. Our company is also developing an electric transmission, but the construction of technology to deal with thermal problem is major issue. One of the solutions is thermal analysis using JMAG. In JMAG, a method that combines FEA and a thermal equivalent circuit has been proposed. In this report, we apply this method to our company’s case, and report on results of analysis and evaluation.
