概要

We have calculated the eddy current loss in the teeth of stator core end and the influence that coil end form gives to eddy
current in the press ring of 2 pole turbine generator by 3D FEM. As a result, eddy current loss in the teeth of stator core end is 10 times of loss density at center portion. And we had a result when the coil end angle are changed from “upper:13deg/under:20deg” to “upper:20deg/under:2Ddeg”, eddy current loss in the press ring increased about 40%.
