[L-MB-28] The Incorporation of JMAG into Model Based Design

Overview

In model based design (MBD), a plant model that can simulate actual machines with high fidelity is required. By using a plant model equivalent to the actual machine, many benefits can be gained such as preliminary verification in the design process and communication without misunderstanding through the model. The JMAG-provided plant model (JMAG-RT) simulates the characteristics of an actual machine with high-fidelity information, acquired by means of FEA, and realizes a highly reliable MBD.

An example of a V-shaped process for a drive system. For verification of function, in addition to high-fidelity simulation of characteristics, response in real time is required. By using JMAG-RT with HILS, this requirement can be met. When real-time responses are not required, high-fidelity simulations can be made by directly including FEA into the system simulation.
