Overview
Heat management is critical to motors with higher output and efficiency. Systems simulations that account for the inevitable heat are essential. Users can take advantage of the thermal circuits for motors used in JMAG to run system simulations that account for the heat. JMAG provides a feature to convert the thermal circuits arranged in a study into MATLAB/Simulink thermal circuits. This enables MATLAB/Simulink simulations using JMAG-RT models to connect JMAG motor models and MATLAB/Simulink thermal circuits.
This tutorial describes the procedures to convert thermal circuits arranged in JMAG into MATLAB/Simulink thermal circuits to run system simulations.
