[L-MO-105] System Design with Model-based Efficiency Map (Speed Priority Mode)

Overview

Electrical Vehicle drive require high efficiency of 95% or more over a wide operating range. In order to meet this requirement, a global design including the examination of the performance for different motor type, pole and slot combination is needed in the system design phase, before engaging in other design development.
Model-based efficiency map development makes this possible. The efficiency map generation function (speed priority mode) of JMAG allow for geometry changes using the number of poles, the number of slots or any parametric dimension, and generate an efficiency map for each geometry.
