概要
H3X doesn't maximize power density just for its own sake. H3X delivers integrated motor drives that either reduce the operating costs of a vehicle or enable new capabilities, be it longer range, more passengers, or higher payload capacity.
This presentation will challenge traditional machine design assumptions, and discuss the veicle-level impacts of machine design choices. Examples include challenging the perceived benefits of high tip speed designs, how sometimes a heavier motor can result in a more power-dense system, and how to optimize the machine efficiency map shape to minimize energy consumption throughout a typical flight profile using variable pitch propeller systems.
